May 4th 2010: 7:15-8:45 (Alltogether ive put in 1 1/2 hors of work into the Bandsaw). Tonight I sanded the rusty parts of my bandsaw and took it apart. I went to the store and tried to buy spray paint but I found out that you have to be 18 to buy it. So instead i sanded it and took it apart. I also am having trouble getting this part off (Part with arrows pointing at it). If you have any recomendations on getting this off please tell me at, http://www.owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=74466&p=520423#p520423. Thanks!

I have found some old motors and some people in town are helping me also find an engin for my bandsaw. I have searched lowes the most today I found that they have a blade thats
63 1/2'' long.. my bandsaw requires 63''... I dont know for sure if that will work. Also if i dont get a motor buy this friday I think I will order one. All together today I have spend 110 Min. on this project, (55 in this class).

Tonight I continued to sand the bansdaw down, then I used WD-40 on all of the tight bolts. I took all of the parts off to. After using the WD-40 I was goin to spray paint it but instead I decided not to because it wouldent stick to the WD-40. So I washed it down with warm water and dishsoap. I hope to start painting it tonight. (Spent 2hrs on project last night)
